The grand show of high-end customization of LIN STUDIO in 2025 “Rui” has been successfully hosted in Palazzo Brancaccio.
Palazzo Brancaccio is the last palace of Rome. It was jointly constructed by Gaetano Koch, a famous Roman architect and Luca Carmini, a sculptor. The site is located in the center of Rome, very close to Domus Aurea. It contains the eternal city’s glory in thousands of years, and it is the exclusive luxury site for Rome to host events and the venue of AltaRoma. It is also the shooting location of Roman Holiday. However, LIN STUDIO also left the story belonging to itself in this palace full of solemnity and romance.
Designers placed plenty of patterns of magnolia, which is also the flower specially applied by LIN STUDIO, on clothing. Different from other flowers flourishing in summer, magnolia sprouts in spring. It is aloof and proud, but it brings newborn power to the external world. Although its florescence is short, it still leaves its name in the world forever. It utterly blooms in both positive and adverse situations, and confidently forges ahead year by year, showing a rising trend.
The unique temperament is used to interpret the charm of eastern females in different eras. They are superficially reserved and mysterious but profoundly tough and enthusiastic, and they hide excitement behind calmness, with the strong power of growing to break ground. Females’ growth and change have never suspended since ancient times.
This season, the brand combined the dressing style of females in the Ming Dynasty and modern elements to cross ages and let the new and the old overlap with each other. Robes, vests, skirts, underwear (now known as tube top) and elements of customary and seasonal clothing like “white silk shirt, gorgeous chignon and blue satin skirt” are shown on clothing. The picture scroll of eastern females superior to and integrated into secularity is opened on this basis. A novel and elegant sense of beauty is presented by modern cutting and fabrics.
The color of sky blue is extracted from the color of the porcelain of Ru kiln in China. Blue-sky glazes evolve from the azure color. The glaze is light and blue. As what people generally say, “azure representing dignity and light greenish-blue representing grandness”, which fully shows the preciousness of azure.
The sense of freshness of sky blue is like frost flowers blooming in spring. They are gentle and touching, and they contain unyielding power. Knitted soft folds are like a glistening lake, forming a contrast with the conciseness of the suit. The match of the stand collar with knots and horse-face skirt realizes the beauty of harmony across time. The collision of Ming Dynasty’s vests and dresses revitalizes classic in fashion.
Her gesture is like a green pine standing on the edge of the cliff. It is both beautiful and tenacious. The silhouette element of the “white silk shirt” is integrated into modern coats, with tassels integrated and pleated floor-length dresses matched, bring a decent sense of nobility. Fishtail dresses and custom suit coats make wearers show a beautiful gesture of women during catwalks. The knitted drop-shoulder hip-wrap skirt with magnolia embroideries mixed makes wearers full of elegance. The floor-length swallow tail is harmoniously matched with neat bell-bottoms, making every step of wearers show big women’s excellence.
The Chinese color “solferino” is warm like the wonderful creature of life “pitaya”, which conforms to the theme of the event, “Rui”. It is bright, sweet and beautiful, and nobody can ignore this strong vitality.
Lace lower hems were added to shirts and dresses with Chinese-knot collars and large color blocks, increasing the sense of young ladies’ niftiness. The Chinese-western match of shorts and vests is novel and bold, making clothing vivid and neat. The fashionable suit of the same color and raglan gowns’ introversion neutralize showy colors and make clothing have a stronger sense of grace.
The black series was showed on stage as the finale, breaking fixed design of minimalism. Each work contains her ingenious idea, with gold and silver manual embroideries, and beads are particularly shining. The velvet “with both sides tied on the front part and hanging on arms on the back part” has a strong classical sense. The buds, branches and leaves of magnolia spread among models’ steps, which are vivid. “Mysterious kitties” wearing veils are sexy and cool, and “spirit hunters” wearing embroidered overcoats and loose pants are daunting.
Females’ story is playing in this ancient castle. Passing through eras, time and space, they show their own charms in a stereoscopic form. Different females have distinct personalities, while they all have vivid and rising vitality.

The dean of the Constantine College personally granted the award of the “best designer” for Ms. Tang Lin. It is the solid first step of stepping on the international stage, after which Ms. Tang Lin stands on another new step on the way to her dream of “letting the world respect Chinese design one day”.
The grand show was hosted on the day of the event of the 55th anniversary of the diplomatic relation established between China and Italy. Ms. Tang Lin, the founder of the brand and director of design, was invited to attend the artistic forum of the 55th anniversary of the diplomatic relation established between China and Italy. Except for the analysis and exchange of some Chinese and western industries and trends, Ms. Tang Lin also said that she wanted to influence and encourage more designers who hope to emerge on the international stage to dig deep into their works, be brave to express and seize opportunities with her practical experience. Just like what the theme of the grand show “Rui” delivers, it is necessary to infuse the power of grass’s growth to yourself continuously and break the ground to emerge. Dreams favor people who dare to chase. When you are bright enough, you can not only be your own light, but also have energy to lend others your rest force to move ahead.
